Previously, we have covered some very good System Information tools, such as Speccy, SIW (System Information for Windows), SIV (System Information Viewer), and BGInfo, that allow you to view detailed information of your system. There is even a screen saver featured on AddictiveTips, UsefulSaver, that displays important system information when the computer is locked. Today, we have another system information tool for you, Kiwi System Info, that lets you browser through system information related to specific hardware components and system settings. You can view system information of differenthardware and software components according to categories, including Hardware Info, Data Storage, Memory, Network, User & Security etc. Read on to find out more about Kiwi System Info.
The interface has Hardware Info, Data Storage, Memory, System Info, Network, User & Sercurity, Developer and All tabs at the top. They allow you to easily locate the required component for viewing the related system information.
Under each tab, there are different categories further simplifying the process of locating a component. For instance, in User & Security tab, there are Account, Account SID, NT Log Event, Security Settings, System Users etc categories available to choose from.
The application displays a lot of detail about each selected category. A minor issue with Kiwi System Info is that if the list is very long, the program will take some time in populating it, and might even go Not Responding for a little while. The application works on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
